As a Cougar coach: 23 years

Played for the Champlain Cougars in 1996 as a walk-on (All-star team) earning a DEC in Pure and Applied Science. Played for the Laval Rouge et Or from 1997-2000 (Vanier Cup Champ in 1999) earning a Baccalaureate and Teaching Degree in Physical Education.

In 2001, Coach Gagné started his coaching career at Champlain College.

He took over as Special Teams Coordinator in 2002. During this time, he’s been to 11 Bol D’or’s (winning 4).

In 2006, Coach Mike was responsible for building and starting the Harfangs Du Triolet highschool football program.
